Meet the Class of 2015
Four hundred and thirty-two CCIS students graduated and joined the ranks of Northeastern alumni this month. Among them were 107 undergraduates and 325 graduate students.
A number of graduates reported receiving job offers from co-op employers. HubSpot offered positions to four Northeastern graduates. Zipcar, Rue La La, and Boston Children’s Hospital, among others, also extended offers to recent graduates. Joe O’Neill, recipient of an Outstanding Co-op Award this year, accepted a position as a software engineer at Facebook.
With 48 students in the major, computer science was by far the most popular field of study for CCIS undergraduates. The combined computer science and business administration major was the second most popular, with 12 students. Master’s degrees in health informatics were awarded to 39 students, while 34 students graduated with a masters of science in information assurance. The most popular program was once more computer science: 240 graduate students were awarded a masters of science in the field.
CCIS faculty and staff hope that Northeastern’s latest batch of graduates will keep in touch with campus life, whether through social media or attendance at various alumni events held around the globe.
“I’m so excited for what their futures will bring and to hear the amazing things that they accomplish,” Brodley says.
