A wide view of the student clubs fair at Northeastern. Three red canopy tents are set up in a campus plaza shaded by trees. Club members stand behind tables under the tents while students interested in joining clubs ask questions.

Sports Analytics Club

A community for learning about sports analytics

The Sports Analytics Club is a community for students of all disciplines to learn about sports analytics.

The club participates in hackathons and research competitions related to sports analytics, and encourages its 30 members to research independently. Members can focus on everything from team sports such as basketball or soccer to individual sports including running and golf; they can further their learning through club workshops on specific sports and more general computing and analytics topics. Members will also grow their teamwork, problem-solving skills, and understanding of sports analytics by working with data and sharing their ideas with like-minded students.
