Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
Leading Hispanics in STEM
The Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers is a professional organization whose goal is to enable Latinos to pursue, obtain, and develop careers in science and engineering.
Since 1992, SHPE members have developed academic and leadership skills, built professional networks, and held community service events. Members can also attend the annual SHPE National Convention, where they participate in workshops and network with major companies to secure co-ops and internships.
SPHE values academic excellence, professionalism in the classroom and the workplace, and giving students the tools and opportunities to succeed. We believe that no student should be left without guidance, and aim to provide that through tutoring, weekly study sessions and mentoring, and lifelong connections.
