Or Katz is a part-time lecturer at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.

Katz has worked in security research at Akamai Technologies for the past decade. After six years of directing security research and developing the company’s product line, he is now the company’s director of product management, focusing on tech evangelism and the positioning of tech like zero trust and SASE architecture within the larger industry. Before joining Akamai, Katz held research positions with F5 Networks and Breach Security. 

At Khoury College, Katz teaches computer networks. He believes that working with and guiding his students is a great privilege, and hopes his extensive experience with computer networks and the tech industry will help his students begin their careers. 

In his free time, Katz is a Celtics fan who enjoys spending time with his kids and hiking.
