A wide view of the student clubs fair at Northeastern. Three red canopy tents are set up in a campus plaza shaded by trees. Club members stand behind tables under the tents while students interested in joining clubs ask questions.

Tech@Crossroads

Uniting paths, unleashing potentials

Tech@Crossroads is a space to foster innovation and learning at the intersections of technology and other academic disciplines.

Changing career paths or incorporating new fields of study can entail an identity shift, leaving students to feel like they’re floundering while they learn the conventions of a new industry. Tech@Crossroads — designed by and for Align students to help them transition, but open to any curious student — aims to support members through this challenge. The club bridges the gap between tech and other disciplines by providing a warm, supportive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment; offering peer-to-peer learning opportunities; organizing interdisciplinary tech workshops, seminars, and events; and designing and developing a streamlined app to share campus news, events, and resources. Members grow their communications skills, build a professional network, and gain insight into interdisciplinary projects and job options they might not otherwise have considered.

We strive to empower every member of our club to make a meaningful impact in the tech world while leveraging their unique backgrounds and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
