Biography
Jad Silbak is a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.
Silbak joined Khoury College in 2023 to work on cryptography research with Daniel Wichs. In particular, he focuses on differential privacy, complexity theory, and derandomization.
Before joining Khoury College, Silbak spent six months as a postdoctoral researcher at Tel Aviv University, where he also completed his PhD in computer science. He has published his work through a variety of computer science conferences and journals, including ITCS, STOC, FOCS, and Eurocrypt. He also served on the program committee for the 2023 International Conference on Randomization and Computation.
