Biography

Melodee Wagen is the director of operations and space planning at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She earned her bachelor’s and master's degrees in music from Western Michigan University. She enjoys the combination of balancing Khoury College’s vision for the future with the immediate need to solve problems and is driven to improve and strengthen systems and processes to reduce friction and increase clarity. 

Prior to joining Northeastern, she worked for architectural firms before forming a consulting practice focused on real estate strategy, workplace strategy, master planning, and change management. Clients included John Hancock, GSK, Harvard University, the Greater Boston Food Bank, and many others. Wagen has obtained many certifications related to the specifics of workplace strategy, real estate management, DEI, and change.

Outside of work, Wagen has been heavily involved in leadership with the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) for many years, both globally and locally. 

Wagen grew up in Michigan.
