Biography
Nancy Delaney is an associate director of finance and reporting at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her bachelor’s in English from Northeastern.
Delaney’s career at Northeastern began in 1989, when she joined the telephone services team as a systems administrator. In 2005, she started working at the budget office as an analyst, then transitioned to management in business services in 2012. In 2022, Delaney joined the finance and planning team at Khoury College as the assistant director. Outside of her work at Northeastern, she has also been a professional drummer for 25+ years!
In her role, she accurately reports the financials of Khoury College and ensures financial resources are available to carry out both Khoury College’s and Northeastern’ goals in experiential, lifelong learning and interdisciplinary research. Delaney enjoys the opportunity for growth and change at Northeastern; she loves her co-workers, who are supportive and inspirational. Aware of computer science’s large impact on everyone, Delaney resonates with Khoury College’s focus on creating technologies to improve the human condition.
