Biography
Meghan Napier is a senior co-op counselor at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her bachelor’s in English from Bates College. Prior to joining Northeastern, Napier worked in higher education at George Washington University in graduate business admissions and in admissions at Brandeis University.
Napier had a wonderful experience in college and wanted to contribute to future students’ learning by providing support during this important time in their life. She is passionate about creating equity, accessibility, and a culture of care in education. In her current role, Napier is the co-op contact for unassigned and first-year students. She helps with general questions, resumé reviews, and interview practice. She manages co-op communications, Canvas resources, and leads events. Napier feels privileged to work with amazing students and help them find the co-op that can lead to a great career.
Napier is excited by Khoury College’s mission to promote computer science for all and to move towards making computer science accessible to any student. She believes resources such as the Align and Bridge programs are great ways to remove barriers to this field. Napier also enjoys seeing how Khoury College professors’ globally relevant work advance fields at the forefront of technology.
