Kellie Melchin is an assistant dean of graduate admissions at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her master’s in higher education administration from Northeastern. Prior to joining Northeastern, Melchin worked with physicians who were starting their residency or fellowship program at Boston Children’s Hospital. In some fellowships, the program had a postdoctoral studies component. From there, Melchin gained exposure to graduate admissions and knew she wanted to work at a higher education institution.

She finds the culture at Khoury College welcoming, inclusive, diverse, collaborative, and cutting-edge, as well as a fun place to work that cares about how to impact critical issues through computer sciences.
