Prior to joining Northeastern, Haycook worked for four years in higher education. He started as a graduate retention fellow for career services at Salem State University, where he received a master’s in higher education. After graduating, Haycook worked as a first-year area coordinator in residential life at the University of New England and as a co-op coordinator for chemical and biomedical engineering at University of Massachusetts Lowell.
