Biography

Sung-En Chang is a doctoral student at Northeastern’s Khoury College of Computer Sciences, advised by Rose Yu. He is interested in tensor analysis–a subfield of statistics and data science that models signals under the spatial-temporal context. He is currently studying the special structure of tensor and matrix factorization and their applications. He earned his undergraduate degree from Tamkang University and his graduate degree from Fujen Catholic University, both in his hometown of Taipei, Taiwan. As he continues studying tensor analysis and deep learning, he hopes to find more latent information through different types of tensor factorization
