Biography
Michelle Ormerod is a director of graduate administration at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. She received her master’s in educational studies from Wheelock College and her bachelor’s in psychology from Merrimack College.
Ormerod has worked in higher education for many years, including in the Registrar’s Office and Information Technology. She has always looked to technology, process, and policy to shape her work and really enjoys using these tools in problem solving and finding efficiencies. She continues this work in her current role at Khoury College, helping to create and streamline processes to make our work easier and better the student experience.
Ormerod believes in Northeastern’s commitment to experiential learning along with its innovative and entrepreneurial methodology. She is excited to be a part of a grounded system that continually looks for growth and improvement.
Ormerod was raised north of Boston in the Merrimack Valley and continues to live there.
