Biography
Sabbir Ahmad is a doctoral student in the computer science program at Northeastern University, advised by Magy Seif El-Nasr. Ahmad's research is focused on machine learning and data analytics, and he is particularly interested in applying and modifying machine learning techniques to study user behavior and patterns in data. Within his research, Ahmad would like to create models for behavioral patterns to help identify different aspects of user behavior, which would help developers understand the impact of their data and create products according to user experience.
Before joining Northeastern, Sabbir earned his bachelor’s in computer science from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He finds that the incorporation of real user experience and behavioral models into his work is fascinating in the sense that it allows for a greater understanding of human behavior along with improving user satisfaction. Going forward, he would like to expand his contributions in academia and research and development.
