Biography
Clara De Paolis Kaluza is a PhD student in the Machine Learning program at Northeastern University’s Khoury College of Computer Sciences, advised by Professor Predrag Radivojac. Clara earned her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and her master’s degree in electrical engineering from Tufts University.
Prior to Northeastern, Clara honed her interest in machine learning and data science through work in medical image processing at Boston-area hospitals, her master’s project on modeling environmental contamination data, and other projects with applications in computational biology and economics. She is particularly interested in machine learning for large and complex sets of data, especially sequential and structured data.
