BS in Computer Science and Business Administration

The BS in Computer Science and Business Administration is a combined major (Khoury College and D’Amore-McKim School of Business) that delivers a technical degree with a strong grounding in business. The focus on technical skills — including program design and software development — will give you unique foundations to bring to your economics and business management courses. You’ll learn how industries use information and information technology to create better-managed, innovative, and more successful organizations.

In this program, you’ll learn to:

  • Apply design principles in the  construction of software systems of varying complexity.
  • Use current techniques, skills, and tools necessary for effective and secure computing practice.
  • Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science theory in the modeling and design of computer-based systems in a way that demonstrates comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices.
