Boston (Kick-off)
On September 28 — joined by alumni and luminaries of the past, as well as students, scholars, and industry partners of the present — one of the world’s first computer science colleges celebrated a milestone.
Vancouver
As Khoury College planned its 40th anniversary celebration tour, each of Northeastern’s global campuses brainstormed how to mark the occasion. In diverse Vancouver, where the enduring influence of Indigenous peoples rings loudly, the choice was clear: the college’s mission of “CS for Everyone” would seize the spotlight.
Seattle
There was much to celebrate as Khoury College took its yearlong 40th anniversary celebration to Seattle. The Align master’s program, launched on the Seattle campus, has now been part of the Khoury portfolio of offerings for ten years — growing from 11 students in 2013 to 1,906 students at seven Northeastern campuses today.
Boston (Culmination)
With members of Khoury College’s global network campuses among the 200 students, faculty, staff, and industry partners attending in person, the 40th anniversary’s culminating celebration marked a pivot from a storied past to an exciting future.
London
On November 3, the London campus hosted the second stop of a yearlong, global celebration of Khoury College’s 40th anniversary.
Portland
While the temperatures outside dropped to record lows, the mood inside Northeastern University’s Roux Institute in Portland, Maine was warm and festive as more than 100 Khoury College students, alumni, faculty, and staff celebrated the college’s 40th anniversary at the seaside campus.
California
Given Northern California’s reputation as a hub for technology research and innovation, it should come as no surprise that the California stage of Khoury College’s 40th anniversary tour had three stops to make.
