Hello. I am speaking Toki Pona. Toki Pona is simple, it has few words, and is easy to learn. I have been learning only recently, but I am eager to learn more.

What is Toki Pona?

Toki Pona is a constructed language invented by Sonja Lang in 2001. Her self stated goal was to understand the meaning of life in 120 words. It is a minimalistic language that contains few words (originally 120, now a few more), each encapsulating a broad range of possible interpretations. Though it is not a great language for technical or scientific communication, it is well suited for general purpose conversation.

Since its inception, Toki Pona has gained wide popularity (for a conlang), with thousands of speakers around the world, and it is used as a tool for communication, meditation, and creativity. There are many instances of Toki Pona poetry, music, and art, including a published translation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

To improve my proficiency, I have started translating various short fables into Toki Pona, which you can find in the resources below.
